Recent graduate Courtney Cashman ’16 was named as one of the Boston Globe’s NEPSAC athletes of the year this week. Each year, the Globe honors the best athletes of the school year at the annual Phelps Scholar- Athlete ceremony.
Among many awards during her athletic career at the Academy, Cashman was ISL MVP in volleyball and softball, as well as Govs’ school’s second all-time leading scorer in basketball. She also received the Anne Marie Murphy Athletic Award during Commencement weekend.
Cashman will play softball for University of Massachusetts, Lowell next year.
